It is with great pleasure that BTC Racing would like to announce that Gareth Howell will drive for the team, alongside Chris Stockton, at the forthcoming rounds at Thruxton.  

Gareth, who raced the same cars in the 2007 season, will replace Stuart Oliver who will miss Thruxton due to work commitments.  Gareth was already lined up to replace Chris Stockton at Thruxton, but due to a change in his business commitments, it is now Chris that he will race alongside.

“Stuart can’t do this one, I’m back and it feels great but I’m not in it just to do well for myself – I’ve been working hard with the team since the start of the season and the key goal has to be to build on the very promising showing at Donington where Chris finished in eighth despite having no previous running in the cars due to a clutch problem.

Above all, I want to keep out of trouble and hopefully end up with a good starting position for race three… and then fight like hell!”
